Community Guidelines

The expectations that help TNT events, city hubs, and member spaces stay welcoming for travelers.

Last updated May 16, 2026

Show up with respect

TNT is built for travelers who are often stepping into a new city without a built-in circle. Treat members, hosts, venue teams, sponsors, and partners with patience and respect.

  • Welcome new faces without making anyone prove they belong.
  • Respect different backgrounds, specialties, contracts, schedules, and comfort levels.
  • Keep disagreements direct, calm, and grounded in the actual issue.

Keep the community safe

Events should feel social, grounded, and safe enough for people to come back. If a situation feels unsafe, find a host, venue team member, or TNT operator as soon as possible.

  • No harassment, threats, stalking, intimidation, or unwanted sexual attention.
  • No discrimination based on race, color, religion, sex, gender identity, sexual orientation, disability, age, national origin, profession, or protected status.
  • Follow venue rules, local laws, and common-sense safety practices.

Honor privacy

Travelers share personal context when they join, RSVP, or submit ideas. Handle that information carefully and do not treat member details as a public directory.

  • Do not post someone else's contact information, workplace details, schedule, photos, or story without permission.
  • Ask before tagging, recording, or sharing identifiable event content.
  • Use member information only for the community purpose it was shared for.

Share in good faith

TNT welcomes event ideas, stories, city notes, and content pitches that make the community more useful and human.

  • Submit content you have the right to share.
  • Avoid spam, deceptive promotion, impersonation, or misleading claims.
  • Keep professional, medical, legal, financial, and credentialing claims out of casual advice unless you are pointing people to qualified sources.

How TNT responds

TNT may remove content, decline submissions, limit access, contact a member, cancel an RSVP, or involve venue or safety teams when behavior conflicts with these guidelines.

The goal is not to make the community stiff. It is to keep TNT warm, useful, and safe enough for travelers to keep showing up.
